Fit for the Queen

Here you can see the band playing today for Her Majesty the Queen at Tweedbank station for the opening of the Borders Railway. The band were the "Official band" for the opening ceremony and were tasked with entertaining the large crowds prior to the Queen's arrival on the Royal train. 

While awaiting the start of the official ceremony the band had a chat with Prince Philip before playing the National Anthem for all assembled. 

A great day and a massive honour for all the band members who made the trip down to play.
