Fife Brass Band Festival Champions

St. David's Brass took part in the Fife Brass Band Festival yesterday (24th April 2010) and are delighted to have finished in 1st place in the third section.

The contest involved a 15-minute concert programme and St. David's entertained with the traditional march Punchinello, a Swedish Folk Song, Berceuse from the Dolly Suite and the programme finisher I Wish I Knew How it Would Feel to be Free. Adjudicator Alan Fernie saw fit to award a clear 3-point margin between St. David's and the rest of the competition.

The band are delighted with the result and will return to rehearsals on Tuesday with renewed vigour.
