Celebrate the start of summer with an evening of award-winning Scottish brass music in Midlothian!
Join Midlothian’s own St David's Brass for an uplifting Summer Concert as we prepare to represent Scotland on the national stage. Fresh off our qualification for the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain, the band invites music lovers of all ages to an eclectic evening of live music.
📅 When: Saturday, 6 June 2026
🕙 Time: 7pm (Doors open from 6.30pm)
📍 Venue: Gorebridge Parish Church, EH23 4TT

We have put together a packed, diverse musical programme featuring stand-out solo performances and moving ensemble pieces. This special summer performance includes:
Snow Island: The mesmerising test piece we will be performing live at the National Finals in York.
Three Haworth Impressions: The spectacular piece that secured our qualification at the Scottish Championships.
Plus a vibrant selection of the band's favourite contemporary and traditional brass arrangements!
All are welcome and the concert is free to attend, though any donations are massively appreciated and will help fund our journey to York to represent Scotland!
While this community concert is completely free to attend, all donations collected on the night will directly help fund our journey to York as we proudly represent Scotland at the National Brass Band Championships.
Come along, bring the family, and enjoy an evening of top-tier Scottish brass music right here in Gorebridge. All are welcome!
